Bloody mess at the end of Game 3 as all hell breaks loose!
Total chaos at the end of Game 3 between the Winnipeg Jets and Colorado Avalanche.
This series may have just taken on a physical tone that is thus far unmatched in the 2024 Stanley Cup playoffs.
Things escalated quite severely at the end of Game 3 of the opening round Stanley Cup playoffs series between the Winnipeg Jets and Colorado Avalanche, with at least one player appearing to suffer a significant injury due to the rough stuff that took place after the whistle.
There were two scrums that occurred after the whistle late in the game, but it would be the second of those scrums that would result in a bloody mess on the ice.
Due to the chaos that ensued I'm not entirely sure how the injury happened just yet, but what I do know is that Winnipeg Jets defenseman Brendan Dillon has suffered a significant cut to his hand. The cut was severe enough that it resulted in a large crimson stain on the ice inside of the faceoff circle.
Here is the chaotic brawl that led to the Dillon injury:
Here is a close up of the damage to Dillion's hand:
No word yet on the status of Dillon as it pertains to this series.
