The Chicago Blackhawks are set in goal, as the tandem of Marc-Andre Fleury and Kevin Lankinen are the official net minders that will be hitting the ice this week.
Lankinen, who was originally inked by the Blackhawks as a free agent in May of 2018 and then subsequently signed to a two-year contract extension in April of 2020, is entering his second NHL season in the Windy City. And he's released his new mask artwork that he'll be donning this year, courtesy of Dave Gunnarsson of DaveArt.
Take a look below:
Lankinen appeared in 37 games in his first NHL season last year, winning 17 while dropping 14 along with five OT/SO losses, with a 3.01 goals against average, .909 save percentage, and two shutouts.
