Blackhawks are changing one of the most iconic jerseys in pro sports
Nooooo! This is sacrilege!
This just in, the Chicago Blackhawks are making a change to their iconic look.
The team officially unveiled a new sponsor patch for the 2024-25 season with sports book Circa Sports slapping their logo on the legendary jersey.
From the official Blackhawks social media:
Yuck... I hate it.
I've loved the Blackhawks jersey and logo since the moment I laid eyes on it. It's one of the most recognizable uniforms in all of professional sports and the classic red, black and white color combination has been copied by countless other teams. I hate that the NHL has decided to allow corporate brands to ruin what was once a sacred garment.
