Bench clearing brawl after player 'shooshes goalie' in field hockey gold medal game

I'm not gonna lie... I don't know much about field hockey.

To me, there's only one type of hockey and it sure as Hell ain't played on a field.

But, after learning today that there can be bench clearing brawls in field hockey, I'm suddenly interested in the Olympic sport.

Today following the shootout winner in the men's gold medal game a player from the winning Netherlands side taunted the German goaltender, leading to a scrum and a bit of a fight. The benches were cleared and it was full-on mayhem in Paris.

And, I've got to say... if this were hockey, proper hockey, than the Dutch player who taunted the goalie would be eating from a straw for the foreseeable future. I mean, just check out this clown:

Are you kidding me, buddy!?!?

You just clinched a gold medal for your team and this is how you celebrate?

Again, if this were (ice) hockey then this guy would be picking his teeth up off the ice. Such a clear lack of sportsmanship from the Dutch side.
