Yesterday the Colorado Avalanche announced that they've signed 29 year old forward Lukas Sedlak to a one year contract. It's believed, however, that the contract doesn't begin until the 2022-23 season.

Check it out:

Sedlak just finished his season in the KHL with Chelyabinsk Traktor, putting up an impressive 18 goals and 43 points in 48 games. His real coming out party though was during the 2015-16 AHL season where he played under current Avs head coach Jared Bednar. He'll likely be a part of the team's bottom six forward group next season.
