Auston Matthews trolls Mitch Marner after he records point #500.
Matthews is such a troll.
Auston Matthews is a bit of a troll isn't he?
On Saturday night, as the Toronto Maple Leafs took on the Detroit Red Wings, Maple Leafs star forward Mitch Marner recorded the 500th point of his National Hockey League career.
That is an incredible milestone for any player and as you might expect a player would want a souvenir of such an occasion. Nothing could be better than the puck that led to that special 500th point, and no doubt Marner was hoping to get his hands on just that.
Matthews got to the puck first however and he likely nearly gave Marner a heart attack when he pretended as though he was simply going to throw the puck into the crowd at Scotiabank Arena.
Of course Matthews was only joking, and instead quickly tossed the puck to the trainer behind the bench.
