Aaron Ekblad reacts to public humiliation by pro golfer Brooks Koepka!

On Monday, a video was trending on social media that put a lot of heat on Florida Panthers’ Aaron Ekblad.

Over the weekend, as the Panthers hosted the New York Rangers, pro golfer Brooks Koepka was filmed, shouting and calling Ekblad a “f****** traffic cone” while holding a traffic cone himself. He also shouted “Ekblad you suck!”

This happened as the Panthers went down 4-3 at the hands of the New York Rangers despite going 2-0 up early on. Koepka used the pylon to insult Ekblad, referring to him as a slow defenseman that can easily be skated past, just like a cone that is used during practice sessions.

On Wednesday, Ekblad reacted to the footage and stated that he does not know Koepka and that they “aren’t buddies.”

"(We'll) never be buddies."

Koepka tees it up in Orlando this week in the third event of the LIV Golf League this season. He used the opportunity to attend a Panthers’ game, and quite honestly, look like a fool.

Ekblad clearly isn’t going to lose sleep over this.
