Veteran Ryan Suter about to cash in big on top of multiple income streams this season

On Thursday night, if everything goes according to plan and defenseman Ryan Suter plays against the Washington Capitals, the veteran player will hit a $600k bonus, bringing his total bonus pay to $1.725m this season.
According to Frank Seravalli, the 40-year-old blue liner has multiple income streams this season, thanks to past contract buy-outs, bonuses and his base salary:
From the Dallas Stars (buyout): $1.43m
From the Minnesota Wild (buyout): $833k
From the Blues:
Base Sal $775k
Bonuses:
10 GP: $225k
30 GP: $400k
40 GP: $500k
60 GP: $600k
(Playoffs: additional $500k)
Total comp for 2024-25: $4.763 million.
As Seravalli goes on to explain, if this is Suter’s last season, he’ll be paid another $1.43m next year from Dallas, and $833k from Minnesota each year through 2028-29.
Suter has played more than 1,500 NHL games, and in 59 this season, he has collected a goal and 10 points.
And he keeps collecting money as one of the oldest blue liners in the league.
