Veteran NHL head coach spotted boarding plane to Toronto.

There have been a lot of rumblings about who may become the next head coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs, but thus far nothing concrete has materialized. At least not until just moments ago.

Although this is by no means any kind of official announcement, veteran National Hockey League head coach Todd McLellan was just spotted boarding a plane from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), a plane that just so happens to be traveling to the Canadian city of Toronto, Ontario.

Here is a short video showing a man that is clearly McLellan at the airport:

Now this doesn't mean that McLellan will be the next head coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs, as he could be merely traveling to Toronto for an in person interview with the Maple Leafs front office. What I do believe this indicates is that, at the very least, McLellan is being seriously considered as a potential coaching candidate by the Maple Leafs and general manager Brad Treliving.
