Utah UC unveils $10 tickets for upper bowl sections

And a free hot dog!

Trevor Connors

Earlier the Utah Hockey Club announced a very 'fan friendly' menu of concessions prices at the Delta Center for the team's inaugural season to rave reviews.

The menu features $3 food items and $2 water bottles. For just $3 fans case choose popcorn, nachos, hot dogs or ice cream cones.

Check it out:

Today, the team announced yet another incredible cost-save initiative for the new team's fans: $10 tickets.

No need to check the calendar, this is still 2025. I thought for a moment that I was transported back to 1985, but it's indeed true that you can get NHL hockey tickets for less than a movie ticket in 2025.

It's worth noting that these seats feature 'limited views' of the ice surface, an issue that the team plans to address with arena upgrades in the future. To be frank though... it's not that bad.

Take a look:

Would you pay $10 for that view of an NHL game? I sure as Hell would.

In addition to this new pricing initiative, the team also announced a Student Section behind the opponent's goal where students enrolled at any university in Utah will be able to purchase tickets for... you guessed it... just $10.

In an effort to curb resellers from jacking up prices in both of these $10 sections the team has also made the tickets non-transferrable. I can't even begin to tell you how much I love that!

Utah HC will also hold a “College Game Night” on March 20 for its game against the Buffalo Sabres. Students who purchase tickets through the Moxie Student Ticket Program will be invited to participate in in-game giveaways and activities and to attend an afterparty in one of the Delta Center’s premium clubs. It will include live music, appearances from Utah Hockey Club personalities, and free food and soft drinks.

Just like I said back when the team announced its fan friendly menu, you've got to give kudos to Utah for putting their fans first. It costs so much these days just to get into a pro hockey or basketball game and to be gouged at the concessions has become all too familiar. I truly hope that this trend catches on with other NHL teams.
