Unbelievably classy move by Leafs GM Brad Treliving

Just very touching.

Earlier today, Calgary Flames assistant general manager Chris Snow’s wife Kelsie announced on social media that her husband became unresponsive on Tuesday and went into cardiac arrest. Doctors were able to get his heart to beat again, but Kelsie reports that Chris has suffered a catastrophic brain injury caused by the lack of oxygen and doctors do not expect him to wake up from this.

Snow has been battling the progressive neuromuscular disease ALS for years.

Upon finding out about Snow’s condition, Toronto Maple Leafs general manager Brad Treliving, who is the Flames’ former GM, flew to Calgary to be with the family of his former assistant GM.

That’s just pure class.

The Maple Leafs were in West Lorne for Kraft Hockeyville on Wednesday night to play against the Buffalo Sabres. Treliving knew the most important was to support the family of his friend and former assistant GM and you have to command him from knowing that life is bigger than hockey.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who loves Chris Snow as Chris continues to battle.
