Tyler Johnson appears to have found a new home.

On Saturday, it was announced by Bruins correspondent Shawn Hutcheon that Johnson and the Bruins had come to an agreement on a professional tryout offer that will see Johnson join the Bruins during their training camp. A PTO is not a standard National Hockey League contract, but it will give Johnson the chance to showcase he can still go in training camp and could potentially lead him to a new deal with the Bruins.

Johnson brings a wealth of experience to the table with over 700 games and 2 Stanley Cups on his NHL resume. Most recently, Johnson spent two seasons as a member of the Chicago Blackhawks, totalling 29 goals and 34 assists for a total of 63 points over 123 NHL games with the Blackhawks.

Not only does Johnson bring his experience as an NHL champion, but there seems to be a winning pedigree that has followed Johnson throughout his career in hockey. Johnson has captured championships at the NHL level, but has also done so as a member of the American Hockey League's Norfolk Admirals and the Western Hockey League's Spokane Chiefs. After winning at every level of hockey he has played at, I suspect that Johnson will be hungry for one more chance at a Stanley Cup Championship.
