Two fights break out during Bruins vs Blue Jackets prospect game.

The Boston Bruins and Columbus Blue Jackets held a prospect game on Saturday and things turned ugly.

The prospect tournament currently being held in Buffalo, New York has proven to be a feisty affair with several rookie players looking to make a lasting impression on their National Hockey League team and perhaps none was more heated than tonight's clash between the Columbus Blue Jackets and the Boston Bruins.

Multiple fights would break out over the course of this game with the first coming between rookie Carlin Dezainde of the Bruins and rookie Tyler Peddle of the Blue Jackets putting on a pretty good scrap early on. Both men threw some heavy leather at their opponent but it did appear as though Peddle eventually got the best of Dezainde. Dezainde did not go down to the ice but he would turtle up and protect himself until the referees stepped in to break up the exchange.

The second clash saw some Charlie on Charlie violence with Charlie Hilton of the Bruins taking on Charlie Elick of the Blue Jackets. Neither man was willing to back down in this one with both men connecting with solid blows to their opponent and it was only when the officials stepped in that both men stopped swinging.

One of the officials even seemed intent on getting the best seat in the house, following the action on his skates during every second of the tilt.
