Trade: Bruins and Wild strike a 2 for 2 trade at the draft.
The Boston Bruins and Minnesota Wild have both sent a pick and a player the other way in a draft day trade.
The Boston Bruins and the Minnesota Wild have swapped picks and players at the 2024 National Hockey League Entry Draft.
According to the National Hockey League's own Joe Pohoryles, the Bruins are sending both forward Jakub Lauko and the 122nd pick at this year's draft to the Minnesota Wild in exchange for both forward Vinni Lettieri and the 110th pick at this year's draft.
Here is the breakdown:
To the Boston Bruins:
Pick 110
Vinni Lettieri
To the Minnesota Wild:
Pick 122
Jakub Lauko
Both Lettieri and Lauko were active in the NHL this past season with Lettieri appearing in 46 games for the Wild, picking up 5 goals and 4 assists for a total of 9 points on the season. Lauko on the other hand appeared in 60 games for the Bruins this past season, recording 2 goals and 8 assists for a total of 10 points.
A relatively minor deal for both sides, but exactly the kind of trade you expect to see on draft day as teams look to move up and down the draft board.
