The Toronto Maple Leafs have been anything but fully healthy this season, and that trend has once again continued. The team announced minutes ago that forward Nick Robertson's season is officially over after having undergone surgery; his expected recovery time is estimated at six months.

Additionally, Leafs depth defenseman Mac Hollowell won't be suiting up any time soon, as he's also undergone surgery.

Per Leafs PR:

"Maple Leafs forward Nick Robertson had season-ending shoulder surgery and will be out for six months.

Toronto Marlies defenceman Mac Hollowell underwent surgery for a fractured kneecap and will be out a minimum of 12 weeks."

Robertson, who was the 53rd overall selection by the Leafs in the 2019 NHL Draft, had scored two goals and three assists in 15 games with the Leafs so far this season.
