Sidney Crosby surprises Team Canada locker room after big win.

The Canadian men's soccer team picked up a major victory over the weekend, and they were treated to a special surprise.

I tell you the National Hockey League and the Pittsburgh Penguins are both going to be very sad when Sidney Crosby does eventually decide to hang up his skates, because it's hard to imagine they will ever replace what he brings to the table as an ambassador for the sport.

The NHL season is over and the Florida Panthers have been crowned the 2024 Stanley Cup champions, but in spite of that Crosby is still out there making headlines for all of the right reasons. Recently, Crosby surprised the Canadian men's soccer team with an unexpected and unannounced visit to their locker room after they defeated the Venezuelans to advance to the semi-final of the Copa America tournament, one of the largest soccer tournaments in the world.

As you might imagine from a locker room filled with Canadian men representing their country, they were extremely excited to have the Canadian Gold Medal winner in their presence. Not only were they chanting their excitement as they entered the locker room, but in the video released by the Canadian Men's National Team you can ever hear some of the players in the locker room yelling out his name.

Of course Crosby has nothing to do with the sport of soccer at the professional level, but nonetheless he was there to show his support for his fellow Canadians and continues to be an excellent ambassador for the sport of hockey wherever he goes.
