Sheldon Keefe demotes a forward after just 2 games.

The head coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs is already shaking his lines up after just 2 games.

The Toronto Maple Leafs are having a very successful start to the season with a pair of wins through the first 2 games of the season, but that doesn't mean that head coach Sheldon Keefe is happy with what he has seen from his team thus far this season.

The Maple Leafs will be playing their third game of the season on Monday when they face rookie superstar Connor Bedard and the Chicago Blackhawks, but they will be doing so with a pair of notable changes to their lineup.

The first lineup change was an anticipated one, with goaltender Ilya Samsonov getting some extra rest for the first time this season and backup goaltender Joseph Woll taking over between the pipes for the Leafs. The second change however would appear to be the product of the result Keefe has seen thus far this season.

During Sunday morning's practice, Keefe demoted forward Max Domi from the team's second line and instead place him on the third line alongside Matthew Knies and rookie forward Fraser Minten. Domi had previously played alongside William Nylander and Maple Leafs captain John Tavares, but that duty will now fall to Calle Jarnkrok who is moving up to the left wing on the second line.

Things could change before Monday's game.
