Get ready for a fight.

The Ottawa Senators and Montreal Canadiens are facing off in less than an hour and it sounds like some players want us to know there will be some animosity.
When the teams faced one another on Sunday night, Habs forward Phillip Danault got away with one, avoiding a major penalty and a game misconduct for spearing Ottawa’s Tim Stützle in the throat. The cameras caught the incident and Stuetzle didn’t look very happy on the bench, but no officials made the call.
However, the rookie’s teammates noticed and appeared to threaten Danault ahead of tonight game.
Enforcer Michael Haley, who isn’t afraid to fight anyone, stated this:
“I like the physical part of the game. I think hockey is faster and more skilled but there has to be a balance. There is always going to be a guy who wants to go over the line and someone has to deal with that. There has to be a ying to the yang.”
Connor Brown also hinted at some payback ahead of tonight’s matchup.
“We have a lot of players on this team who know how to take care of their team mates.”
If it’s not Haley, then maybe Brady Tkachuk will want to get in the mix.
We will keep our eyes open for a possible fight in tonight’s game.
