Rumor: Jagr headed West to Cup contender?
One NHL insider predicts the perfect landing spot for the 45-year-old free-agent

National Hockey League fans are still confused on why veteran Jaromir Jagr has yet to find a home for the upcoming season, as he still remains an unsigned free agent.
Rumors heated up last week, saying that the 45-year-old could be signing with the Calgary Flames. According to Dan Rosen of NHL Network, the deal would be a good idea since Jagr would be a great fit, in a lesser role than he is used to, on a line with Sam Bennett or with Micheal Ferland, who could go get the puck for the veteran.
However, Rosen believes another team should jump in the Jagr sweepstakes: the San Jose Sharks would be a great fit for the future Hall of Famer.
"They're an older team, yes, but, their window to win is right now. Jagr probably wants to win again, it's been a long time," Rosen added.
Rosen also notes that young forwards like Tomas Herlt or Mikkel Bodker would love to play with Jagr and learn from the veteran.
"Calgary and San Jose: I believe those can be fits."
