Report: Official announcement from David Krejci imminent
Looks like it's going to be official soon.

Up until earlier in the week, it looked like veteran forward David Krejci's future in Boston remained up in the air. He was lured back to the Bruins last summer after spending a year playing in his native homeland, and appeared in 70 games while racking up 16 goals and 40 assists.
However, following Boston's absolutely shocking 1st round exit to the Florida Panthers despite having won a record 65 regular season games, reports have surfaced that Krejci does in fact plan to call it a career in the NHL; though no official announcement has been made as of yet. It would be the second major retirement announcement in Boston this offseason, as Patrice Bergeron made it official late last month with his announcement that his playing days were through.
But now, it appears as though the official announcement on Krejci's part could be on the horizon. According to writer Mark Allred, the official news could come this weekend.
He writes:
"Hearing NHL free agent forward David Krejci is traveling to Boston today from overseas to announce his official #NHLBruins retirement which could come as soon as tomorrow."
While it's all but a given that Krejci's NHL career is finished, the official announcement appears to be imminent, and it won't make it any easier for Bruins fans who know that next season won't be anywhere near as record breaking as the last.
