Sweet threads! Gives me North Stars nostalgia!

According to a post from NHL jersey and logo resource Icethetics, the Minnesota Wild's third jersey for the upcoming season has been leaked!
From Icethetics:
Love it!
The inclusion of yellow into the team's uniform is obviously a throwback to the Minnesota North Stars' classic look.
I mean, just look at these beauties:
Such a classic, iconic look.
Personally, I've never been a big fan of the Wild's uniforms. Sure, I love the green but the logo is... well... I don't know what the Hell it is. Is it a bear? A cougar? The trees, sunset and running river silhouette are undoubtedly beautiful but I'm not sure it all works together as a hockey logo. To me, a hockey logo should be instantly recognizable and memorable. The Wild's logo is neither of those things. Again, sure it looks pretty but that's about all it has going for it. I'll take the North Stars' basic 'N' logo over the Wild's busy art project any day.
In any case, the Wild's branding was sort of doomed from the beginning given their choice of name. I understand that the state of Minnesota features some breathtaking wilderness, but the name 'Wild' just screams 90s to me. There are plenty of nature-themed names that the team could have went with that I think would have represented the area better.
As it is, the team is paying homage to its roots with this new jersey and I think that's a fantastic start. Thoughts, Minny fans?
