It hasn't even been a week since Sheldon Keefe was fired by the Toronto Maple Leafs and every day that passes, Leafs Nation gets more and more anxious about who the team's next head coach will be.

Rumor reports from the likes of Chris Johnston, Elliotte Friedman and Nick Kypreos indicate that the frontrunners for the job are former St. Louis Blues coach Craig Berube and former Los Angeles Kings head coach Todd McLellan.

Earlier this week TSN insider Darren Dreger reported that the "understanding is that Craig Berube (and) Todd McLellan met with Treliving, and probably other members of the  management group, as well," meaning that one of them will most lijkely be the next head coach of the Leafs."

The sentiment that I've seen from the majority of Leafs fans is that they'd like to see Berube behind the bench, but a report from NHL insider Frank Seravalli today is making Leafs Nation nervous. Seravalli reports that Berube is meeting with the Winnipeg Jets today for their vacant head coaching position.

From Seravalli:

As Seravalli reports, Berube has also met with the New Jersey Devils and the Ottawa Senators so far this Spring. The Senators have made their hire by signing Travis Green last week, but the Devils are still a strong contender for Berube's services. So... Toronto, Winnipeg or New Jersey? What's the best fit for the no nonsense coach?
