The AHL's Hershey Bears held their annual Teddy Bear Toss this past Sunday and set a world record for the most stuffed animals donated during a hockey game.

In total, the 10,514 fans in attendance donated 102,343 stuffed animals for 35 local and regional organizations, including Schreiber Pediatric, Vista Autism Services, Middletown School District, Gigi’s Playhouse Lancaster, Central PA Food Bank, Off the Streets, Palmyra Lions Club, Milton and Catherine Hershey Schools, and Autism Society Greater Harrisburg Area.

After veteran forward Michael Sgarbosa scored the team's opening goal of the game fans littered the ice with stuffies of all shapes and sizes.

How good is that!?!?!

The ice ended up just turning into a pit of stuffies, which the players took joy in jumping in and out of like a pile of fall leaves.

An incredible initiative that you can't help but love. Kudos to the Bears for continuing to support local charities with this!

The biggest kudos though go to local teenager Gabby Kerchner who, through her charity Gabby's Acts of Kindness, managed to donate over 40,000 stuffed animals for the cause! In total Gabby and her family have donated over 125,000 stuffed animals over the past decade.
