Patrik Laine and his fiancé thrilled to arrive in Montreal

The Montreal Canadiens acquired former No. 2 overall selection Patrik Laine in a deal completed earlier this week, giving them a player who has demonstrated he's capable of racking up the goals - something they hope to use in their quest to climb out of the Atlantic Division basement. 

And already, Laine and his fiancé Jordan Leigh are acclimating themselves to their new surroundings. In fact, Jordan requested a French teacher while expressing her happiness at arriving in Montreal, writing the following on her social media account: 

"We are so pumped to meet you Montreal!!"

"Also if anyone knows a French teacher please share their contact Sos," she wrote.

"What do I need to know before we move to MTL?," she asked.
