Although the National Hockey League season has come to an end with the awarding of the Stanley Cup to the 2024 Stanley Cup Champion Florida Panthers, there is still high level hockey being played around the world that features some of the league's biggest and brightest stars.

One such example is a game that has been dubbed the 'Match of the Year' which took place earlier today, a showcase game between elite level talent from both the NHL as well as the Kontinental Hockey League. The event featured high profile stars such as Washington Capitals forward Alex Ovechkin and former NHL star Alexander Radulov, but it may have been New York Rangers forward Artemi Panarin that stole the show today.

Panarin, who was representing the NHL All-Stars at this particular event, attempted and nearly pulled off one of the craziest looking moves you're ever going to see during a live game. Although he wouldn't score with the move, Panarin would attempt a spin-o-rama combined with a Michigan-style move, wowing the crowd in the process but sending the puck wide and to the left of the net.

You can check out the replay of his attempt right here:

Despite the fact that the puck did not go into the net, Panarin got a great reaction from the crowd that was just happy to see the NHL star go all out with such a crazy move in what is at the end of the day an exhibition event for the fans.
