NHL ends partnership with Adidas, announces new jersey partnership in 10 year deal
Yikes... I do NOT like this from the get go.

Early this morning the NHL announced that it is ending its partnership with jersey and apparel manufacturer Adidas and is entering a 10 year partnership with Fanatics to produce authentic jerseys and fan apparel.
If you're not familiar with Fanatics... they're awful.
Substandard product, high prices and terrible customer service are all amongst the common complaints against the corporation. To say that people aren't happy with this announcement would be an understatement. I mean, just look at some of these replies:
Oh that's weird... the NHL making a decision that only serves its bottom line and does nothing to serve fans? That doesn't sound right, does it? Pardon me if your sarcasm meter just exploded...
The fact of the matter is that the NHL under commissioner Gary Bettman has shown time and time again that they will serve at the altar of the almighty dollar. Bettman and the owners' mandate is to squeeze as much money out of the sport as possible, so choosing a sub-standard manufacturer to produce their merchandise because said manufacturer threw money at them is 100% on brand for this league.
