MUST SEE: Predators G David Rittich wrecks himself on the net!

If Shaqtin' a Fool had a hockey version.....

Okay, this will go down as one of the more embarrassing and yet entertaining moments this season.

During last night's game at Ball Arena between the host Colorado Avalanche and the visiting Nashville Predators, goaltender David Rittich made a tremendous save on a 2-on-1 Avs rush that saw Mikko Rantanen with a glorious scoring chance.

The puck deflected behind the net off the glass, and as Rittich turned to glove the puck, he inadvertently ran into the net and found himself flat on his back. The entire sequence has to be seen to be believed. Of course, Avalanche commentator Marc Moser sounding as though he was calling a WWE death cage match makes it all the more better:

Of course, the Predators may be forced to go with Rittich for the first few games of the postseason, as starter Juuse Saros is currently on the shelf with an injury.
