Multiple fights break out in Utah vs Rangers on Saturday night.
Things turned ugly between the Utah Hockey Club and the New York Rangers on Saturday night.
There appears to be no love lost between the National Hockey League's newest franchise and the New York Rangers.
On Saturday night, during the second period between Utah HC and the Rangers, multiple fights would break out after a scrum in front of the net completely broke down and the officials on the ice briefly lost control of the game.
The two fights would occur at the same time although it was hard to tell if you were watching it live as there was simply so much chaos happening on the ice, with players pushing and shoving everywhere on top of the two fights transpiring on the ice.
It appears as though the Rangers' Tobias Edstrom would get the better of Utah's Jack McBain in one of the exchanges with the Rangers broadcast showing the replay of the towering Edstrom pummeling McBain while McBain simply could not properly return fire due to the size disparity between the two men.
This appears to be the best look at the other fight that broke out on the ice between Sam Carrick and Michael Kesselring and this one appeared to be more evenly matched.
Both guys threw some heavy shots in this one with neither man seemingly willing to quit and as their momentum carried them into the boards two of the National Hockey League officials on the ice would quickly jump in to break up the wild fight before more damage could be done.
This occurred at the midway point of the game so there may be more fireworks to come in this one, stay tuned.
