Miller and Deslauriers go at it in great heavyweight scrap
Old time hockey, baby!
HockeyFeed
In case you missed it last night, the Boston Bruins and Montreal Canadiens renewed their nearly century old rivalry, with the Habs picking up a 3-2 overtime victory in Boston’s TD Garden.
As you might imagine between these two teams, things got a little feisty and it didn’t take long for a good, old fashioned scrap to break out. With just a few minutes remaining in the game’s opening period, Bruins defenseman Kevan Miller and Habs winger Nic Deslauriers threw down in an epic heavyweight scrap that REALLY elevated this game.
Check it out:
Miller pops Deslauriers’ top, but Deslauriers doesn’t miss a beat and keeps chucking knuckles! In the end they both exchange lefts and rights and it’s Deslauriers who goes down first in this old school tilt.
This is what old time hockey is all about!
