Michael Bunting to apologize to referees!

It's no secret that Toronto Maple Leafs forward Michael Bunting can certainly get a bit hot headed at times, having been seen several times in his young career absolutely jawing at both opponents and referees alike. 

Just one such example: 

Bunting was also visibly upset at the on-ice officials during Toronto's last game before the All-Star break against the Boston Bruins. But he knows when a line was crossed, and he plans on making amends.

"A fast game and refs miss some stuff, so I got to think about that," he said. "But it's hard to think about that in the moment......You have to have respect."

Bunting explained that he plans on reaching out to those same on-ice officials and offer an apology.
