Matt Rempe spotted fighting during the offseason.

Rangers enforcer Matt Rempe's reputation has him fighting in the offseason now as well.

In his first season in the National Hockey League, New York Rangers enforcer Matt Rempe made a huge name for himself despite appearing in just 17 games during the regular season. Rempe's popularity exploded as he showed a willingness to take on all comers in the NHL and seemed to relish in every second of it, instantly making him a fan favorite among Rangers fans and earning himself a host of fans from across the NHL as well.

It would seem as though Rempe's notoriety is now following him around everywhere he goes, as the Rangers enforcer is now duking it out on the ice even during the NHL's offseason.

Rempe, who is a native of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, was recently spotted back on the ice in his home province of Alberta and once again Rempe was playing with his gloves off. The Rangers enforcer was reportedly teaching a boxing club how to duke it out on the ice, a skill some feel Rempe himself hasn't even mastered just yet.

That being said Rempe did have 5 fights at the NHL level last season taking on tough customers like Matt Martin, Nicolas Deslauriers, Ryan Reaves and more, and no doubt has accumulated a good bit of experience in the art of fighting on the ice in a very short period of time.

Here's a look at Rempe on the ice in Alberta:

Rempe had some great battles with his opponents last season and this latest video has me excited to see more in the 2024-25 NHL season.
