Funny stuff from Marc Savard!

Former Calgary Flames forward Marc Savard is now officially back with the team as an assistant coach, returning to the team that he suited up for during a portion of his NHL career.
And he's taken to X (formerly known as Twitter) to make a request of Toronto Maple Leafs superstar Auston Matthews, asking for a new pair of Marsblade skates (a brand Matthews has endorsed) with the not-serious but still funny promise of a return to the NHL in return, albeit only on the power play.
"Hey @AM34 I used my son @savvy97_ rollerblades and went 10km. Send the old lad @Marsblade a size 9 wide and I might make a comeback. (PP only lol) @NHLFlames"
Savard played in a total of 807 NHL games with the Flames, New York Rangers, Atlanta Thrashers and Boston Bruins, scoring 207 goals with 499 assists.
He infamously was the victim of a dirty head shot from Pittsburgh Penguins forward Matt Cooke in 2010, resulting in a Grade 2 concussion that would affect him for the rest of his remaining career.
