Goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury has officially decided to run it back for at least one more season, signing a one-year contract with the Minnesota Wild worth $2.5 million.

“I’m grateful,” Fleury explained shortly after the deal became official. “I’m grateful to keep doing what I love for one more season. I thought about it a lot this year, but still loving to compete, the intensity, the pursuit to be in the best league in the world also, (to) and compete with young guys. I feel very lucky to be able to do it.”

“I’ve been asked a lot about what’s next for me,” he explained. “It’s good that this is settled and I don’t have to talk about it for another year.”

And for his final year in the NHL, Fleury has released several different mask designs that he'll be wearing for the campaign:

Last season, Fleury amassed a record of 17-14-5 with a 2.98 goals against average .895 save percentage and a pair of shutouts. Throughout his career, he owns a complete record of 561-329-96 with a 2.60 goals-against average, .912 save percentage and 75 shutouts.
