Maple Leafs unveil stacked lineup for first preseason game.

The Maple Leafs are bringing out many of their big guns for their first preseason game.

The Toronto Maple Leafs will be flexing their muscle in their first preseason game of the National Hockey League's preseason, and I suppose that should come as little surprise given the opponent they will be facing.

On Sunday morning, the Maple Leafs officially unveiled their lineup for today's matchup against their bitter rivals in the Battle of Ontario, the Ottawa Senators. The lineup includes several notable names with several of the team's top stars as well as a number of the newcomers they added during the offseason.

First let's take a look at the forwards in today's lineup:

Easton Cowan
Max Domi
Nikita Grebenkin
Cale Jarnkrok
Matthew Knies
Mitch Marner
Auston Matthews
William Nylander
Max Pacioretty
Jacob Quillan
Ryan Reaves
John Tavares

And now the defenseman that will be on the ice for the Maple Leafs today:

Noah Chadwick
Oliver Ekman-Larsson
Timothy Liljegren
Jake McCabe
Morgan Rielly
Chris Tanev
Cade Webber

Two goalies will be suiting up for the Maple Leafs in today's preseason game:

Matt Murray
Joseph Woll

Not only are the Maple Leafs facing a team that they have a storied rivalry with, but this will also represent the first time newly minted Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube will get the chance to see his players in action in anything that resembles a real NHL game. It makes sense that Berube would want to get a chance to evaluate his players on the ice, in spite of the fact that this is only the preseason.

No word yet on what the Senators lineup is expected to look like today.
