The Toronto Maple Leafs suffered an injury setback during Wednesday night's victory over the visiting San Jose Sharks at Scotiabank Arena, as forward Calle Jarnkrok was felled by a groin injury and did not return to action.
According to head coach Sheldon Keefe earlier today, Jarnkrok will be out of action for at least the next two weeks as he recovers from his ailment. He joins the extensive list of the walking wounded for the Leafs, which include Morgan Rielly, TJ Brodie, Jake Muzzin, and Jordie Benn.
Meanwhile, Brodie will be accompanying the team on their road trip to Florida, but will not be participating in the next two games.
The Leafs take on the Tampa Bay Lightning tomorrow night from Amalie Arena.
