The Toronto Maple Leafs have featured a popular tune from American pop duo Hall and Oates since the beginning of the 2018-19 NHL season as their goal song, their classic "You Make My Dreams" from their 9th studio album "Voices" in 1980.
However, that era in Leafs hockey appears to be coming to an end. It was announced earlier this hour that there will officially be a new song playing when the Leafs score a goal at home, but it won't be limited to just one.
The Leafs begin the season tonight at home against the rival Montreal Canadiens, and fans will have a chance to hear the new song after the puck tickles the twine!
