Leafs legend Tie Domi accused of stealing someone's seat!

Toronto Maple Leafs legend Tie Domi had a rather amusing interaction with a fan on Saturday night, although it didn't start out that way.

Fans were caught off guard on Saturday night when Domi suddenly took to social media to call out a fan that Domi believed was accusing him of stealing his seat at Scotiabank Arena. Domi, a player known for not tolerating any crap, didn't hold back when addressing the fan either.

"Calling you out Richie," wrote Domi, following it with a clown emoji. "Fake news! Your full of sh** I wasn’t in your seat. Must have been something in your 30$ [beer]."

As it turns out Ritchie wasn't someone trying to get a rise out of Domi, but actually just a really big fan of the former Maple Leaf who made a pretty funny comment that didn't land with Domi himself. Ritchie had actually simply posed a question to his followers that highlighted the legendary Maple Leafs' toughness.

"You return from getting a $30 beer… and this guy is in your seat," wrote Ritchie alongside an image of Domi lounging in his seat.

"What do you do?"

Thankfully Ritchie was able to quickly explain that he had merely been making a bit of a joke, and was even able to show Domi that the two had actually crossed paths before.

Much to Domi's credit he appeared to remember meeting Ritchie and his family, and even remembered where that meeting had taken place.

Things may have gotten off to a rough start but I think this story ended pretty well.
