Alexander Ovechkin became the third player in NHL history to score 800 career goals on Tuesday night, doing so in typical highlight reel fashion.
After having already scored twice against the Chicago Blackhawks at United Center, Ovechkin would pick up the loose change in front of the crease and bury the puck for the historic marker.
And not long afterward, it was Blackhawks franchise icons Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane who would go viral for a tremendous act of sportsmanship:
