Nashville Predators goaltender Juuse Saros is showing head coach John Hynes that he made the right decision to start him in Games 1 and 2 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Saros absolutely robbed Hurricanes forward Vincent Trochek, who broke in on a shorthanded 2-on-1 rush with Brett Pesce. Trocheck sent the puck over to Pesce, who promptly passed right to Trochek, who had to have been thinking he had an easy goal.
Saros, however, had other ideas. He also then stopped Trochek's rebound attempt for good measure.
The sparkling stop kept Nashville within a goal of Carolina late in the 1st period.
