Justin Bieber snubs Nathan MacKinnon at the NHL All-Star Game?
Celebrity coach Justin Bieber appears to give Nathan MacKinnon the cold shoulder during the NHL All-Star Game.
Over the weekend during the National Hockey League's All-Star festivities, celebrity coach and pop singing icon Justin Bieber drew a considerable amount of attention both for his presence throughout the event and for his choice of what I would consider fairly loud attire.
In spite of the fact that there was a considerable amount of attention being paid to Bieber over the weekend however, an intriguing moment between him and a pair of NHL superstars appeared to go largely unnoticed.
While Bieber was on the ice with some of the biggest stars in the sport of hockey, he used the opportunity to grab a quick photo with Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby. Colorado Avalanche star forward Nathan MacKinnon was there as well, but Bieber didn't really seem to care or even notice. when it came time to snap the photo.
While it might appear as though Bieber was being a little rude towards MacKinnon, I suspect that his reasons for giving MacKinnon the cold shoulder came from a good place and were actually quite genuine.
You have to remember that in 2010, when Crosby scored the Golden Goal for Canada at the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver, Canada, Bieber would have been just 16 years of age. Bieber, like countless other young Canadian men his age, likely would have grown up idolizing Crosby and I believe he was simply extremely excited to be photographed alongside one of his idols.
In fact Michelle Crechiolo of Pens Inside Scoop published this photo from the locker room, a photo that shows Bieber clearly admiring the captain of the Pittsburgh Penguins.
