Jonah Gadjovich KOs Dennis Gilbert after an epic clash on Sunday night.
What a war!
This was simply one of the best tilts we've had in the National Hockey League in some time.
If you went to bed early on Sunday night you may have missed the game between the San Jose Sharks and the Calgary Flames, and if you did you missed one hell of a clash in the game's second period.
Sharks forward Jonah Gadjovich and Flames defenseman Dennis Gilbert went toe to toe in a lengthy back and forth affair that saw both men pouring on the punishment.
It looked as though Gilbert may have taken the upper edge in the contest when he managed to get his elbow pad loose and started raining on the punishment, but Gadjovich would come back in a major way. The Sharks forward would dislodge Gilbert's helmet and land some solid shots to the head of his opponent before connecting with a bomb that would send Gilbert crashing to the ice and eventually back to the locker room.
There will be no debate about who the winner of this one was, but full credit to both Gadjovich and Gilbert for putting on one heck of a show for the fans.
