Joey Daccord crashes and burns during postgame celebration.

Seattle Kraken goaltender Joey Daccord got a little too excited about the big win on Saturday.

The Seattle Kraken picked up a huge win on Saturday night, beating the team currently sitting at the top of their division in the National Hockey League's Pacific Division, the Calgary Flames. Not only had the Flames come into the game undefeated, but the win also propelled the Kraken past the Vegas Golden Knights into sole possession of second place in the division.

Given all of that context you could understand why the players on the Kraken roster would be very excited about picking up the big win in overtime, but one player in particular got a little too caught up in the moment. That player, Kraken goaltender Joey Daccord, would in fact get so swept up by the excitement that he created one of the funniest moments of this young NHL season so far.

As all of his teammates were gathered for a postgame hug and/or huddle, Daccord attempted to dive on top of the pile of bodies in a moment of pure exuberance. Instead of landing in the pile and joining his teammates in celebration however, Daccord would bounce right off of them and go crashing and burning down to the ice.

The good news is that Daccord appears to have been just fine and the teammates who noticed his fall could literally be heard laughing out loud over the sound of the horn being blasted throughout the arena to mark the victory. I have no doubt that the members of the Kraken's roster are going to be having a good chuckle about this one for quite some time.
