The Boston Bruins have not made their coach very happy.

A pair of tough losses for the Bruins to Eastern Conference opponents the New York Rangers and Philadelphia Flyers over the last few days have clearly rubbed Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery the wrong way.

Montgomery showed his players no mercy when they hit the ice for practice on Monday, with multiple reports indicating that the coach was fired up and animated as he barked out orders to his players.

"Wake the f*** up," Montgomery screamed at his players according to several sources.

Montgomery isn't just giving it to his players verbally either, putting them through their paces in practice in a major way. Connor Ryan captured a video of Montgomery making his players do sprint drills, a tactic often deployed by coaches to send a message to an underperforming group.

Montgomery didn't shy away from the fact that he wasn't happy either, expressing his displeasure with his players openly when speaking to the media.

"I hated the way we finished the game in Philly. … We weren’t prepared to start practice today," said the fired up Bruins coach.

It is now up to the players to respond and it will be very interesting to see how they do just that.
