Jeremy Roenick shows of his dance moves during HHOF legends game.
One of the newest members of the Hockey Hall of Fame got the crowd pumped up on Sunday with some on-ice dance moves.
He may be several years removed from being one of the most dynamic and exciting players in the National Hockey League, but recent Hockey Hall of Fame inductee Jeremy Roenick has still got some moves.
Roenick recently received his ring and will officially be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame on Monday when the ceremony takes place, but Roenick has been celebrating his induction all weekend long. There have been several photos of a very happy looking Jeremy Roenick making their way onto social media, with Roenick flaunting his new Hall of Fame ring in most of them, and on Sunday Roenick continued to show off his exuberance when he participated in the Hockey Hall of Fame legends game.
Roenick was a participant in the game itself but what really stood out to me was him looking to share the joy he is feeling this weekend with every single fan in attendance. Roenick would come out onto the ice, microphone in hand, and would proceed to lead the entire arena into what I can only describe as a dance party. Roenick insisted that everyone in the building rise to their feet and dance along with him, and it seems like he got a pretty good response from the crowd judging by the videos now popping up on social media.
Here are a few of those videos:
Roenick was a prolific goal scorer during his NHL career, finding the back of the net 513 times over the span of 1363 games, and he showed that he's still got the scoring touch when he scored on a penalty shot in the game as well. You can check out that clip just below:
