Jack Edwards tries to apologize to Pat Maroon, but it doesn't go how he planned

This is absolutely hilarious to me

Remember this past November when Boston Bruins broadcaster called Tampa Bay Lightning forward Pat Maroon fat on live TV?

Let me remind you:

"[Maroon] is listed at 238 pounds," the 65-year-old broadcaster said. "That was Day 1 of training camp. I've got a feeling he's had a few more pizzas between then and now.

- Jack Edwards

Keep it classy, Jack.

For the record, Maroon tips the scales at 238 lbs but... this is ridiculously unprofessional from Edwards.

Maroon made a statement following the game announcing that he was donating $2000 in Edwards' name to Tampa Bay Thrives, a local Tampa organization that helps people struggling with mental health, eating disorders and body image issues.

Edwards himself apologized for his comments on Maroon, but still even months later it doesn't look like Maroon is interested in a reconciliation. Today, with the Bruins in Tampa for the first time since Edwards' comments, Edwards attempted to patch things up with Maroon, but again, it doesn't look like Maroon is too interested.

From Lightning insider Erik Erlendsson:

I've got to say... Edwards just continues to make a clown out of himself. Here he is injecting himself into the middle of things once again, making a bigger deal about things than is necessary. This guy is insufferable...
