Huge update from Kelsie Snow, wife of Chris Snow.

Kelsie provides an update on her husband.

Earlier this week we received a heartbreaking update on the health of Calgary Flames assistant general manager Chris Snow when it was revealed that Snow's condition had deteriorated and that he had been placed on a ventilator.

Snow has been battling ALS, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, and has far outlived his original diagnosis but when his condition took a turn for the worst this week there was grave concern about his health. Hockey fans recently saw what a terrible toll ALS took on the late, great, Borje Salming and how quickly it can turn fatal and it was only natural that those same concerns extended to Chris Snow when the update about his health garnered widespread attention.

While I have no doubt that Chris continues to fight for his life, there is thankfully a reason to be positive on this Saturday thanks to Chris' wife Kelsie Snow. Kelsie took to social media today to share some great news about her husband, revealing that he had regained consciousness. The Snow's have two young children and we can only hope for both of those kids, Kelsie and of course Chris himself that he can somehow defy the odds and pull through this latest hurdle as he has done consistently since he was diagnosed with ALS 3 years ago.

Should Kelsie share any further updates we will be sure to keep you posted.
