John Tortorella keeps trending, especially following last night’s in-game interview in which he blasted his Philadelphia Flyers’ players and ripped off the mic helmet and his glasses went flying.
“We suck. We haven’t forechecked; we have not done anything as of right now,” Tortorella said after being asked about the first 15 minutes of the game against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
The in-game interview got trending, not only for Torts’ brutal message, but also because fans were able to see up close his facial injury.
The head coach has a gash-like scar on his left cheek and fans were quick to joke about how he got the injury, probably from a fight with one of his own players or the horse acting up knowing its carrying angry Torts!
But the truth is that Torts was kicked in the face by one of his three horses he owns. He mentioned that he thinks he might also have a broken nose. You gotta love all the funny theories on social media:
You have to admit that it’s pretty impressive that Tortorella was kicked in the face - BY A HORSE - and didn’t miss a game due to the injury.
