The entire Gaudreau family was left devastated when alleged drunk driver Sean Higgins struck and killed Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau, stealing two sons, brothers, husbands and fathers in the blink of an eye.

For sister Katie Gaudreau however the tragedy took on an especially horrific twist as it occurred while both of her brothers were cycling home from a rehearsal dinner for her wedding, a wedding that was schedule to take place just hours after their tragic and untimely deaths.

Not only did Katie lose her two brothers but she was also forced to postpone her wedding, which of course no one could blame her for given that her entire family was in mourning.

Now the family will look to remember Johnny and Matthew as the beautiful and loving young men that they were, and Katie has found a special way of her own to keep her brothers close to her forever, even long after they have passed away.

Katie took to social media on Saturday evening and shared a picture of what appears to be her wedding band, a band that now has the letters J and M engraved on the outside. The beautiful tribute to her brothers is both heartwarming and heartbreaking all at once as, although she will now keep her brothers close to her forever, nothing will ever truly replace what she has lost.

Katie shared the message on her Instagram story and it included the caption "Forever with me now. J & M"
