Frustrated after another loss, Elias Pettersson faces question about J.T. Miller.

It feels like something is going to have to give sooner rather than later when it comes to the Vancouver Canucks and the seemingly giant rift in their locker room between two of the organization's top players.

On Saturday night, more reports came out confirming that there indeed have been some serious and ongoing issues between star forwards J.T. Miller and Elias Pettersson, with National Hockey League insider Elliotte Friedman even going so far as to indicate that the rift between the two players has started to negatively impact the rest of the team.

The hope would be that, after that kind of a negative report, the team would rally and try to win convincingly to try and shut down some of the noise around the team, but instead the Canucks would falter and lose by a score of 5-4 to the Ottawa Senators on Saturday night.

As you would expect, Pettersson was faced with questions about that latest bit of news regarding his issues with his teammate but, instead of facing the questions head on, Pettersson would mumble an unconving response that only served to make those reports appear all that much more credible.

"I still don't know," said Pettersson when initially asked about his issues with J.T. Miller.

Pettersson was pressed on the issue and doubled down on his response, not even looking into the camera but instead holding his head down and again mumbling his response.

"I don't know why people are still trying to make shit up," said an unconving Pettersson.

When asked a third time about the issues with Miller, Pettersson dismissed the question entirely before simply walking away from the media scrum.

"Next question," said the Canucks star forward.

This is obviously not a great look for the Canucks and you have to wonder what kind of measures the organization will be willing to take if this situation doesn't quickly resolve itself.
