Fowler opens the scoring in the Winter Classic in his 1,000th NHL game!

What a moment for the veteran blueliner!

The puck had barely dropped on the Winter Classic when Cam Fowler decided to damper the mood in Chicago.

With over 40,000 rabid Chicago Blackhawks fans causing a ruckus at Wrigley Field, the St. Louis Blues veteran defenseman shut them up pretty quickly.

Fowler scored the game's opening goal just 1:40 into the game... his 1,000th NHL game.
